Here’s how to use your Budapest Card:
Pick up and activate your card
After booking online, collect your card at your selected pickup location. Bring your confirmation email. Pick it up at Hotel Gozsdu Court in the city centre, or at the Ibis Styles Airport Hotel right by the terminal if you’re collecting on arrival.
Activate your card the first time you use it at an attraction or on public transport. From that moment, it remains valid for 24, 48, 72, 96, or 120 consecutive hours, depending on the option selected.
Get around with ease
Enjoy unlimited travel across Budapest by metro, bus, tram, and trolleybus—no need to purchase individual tickets.
Visit free attractions
Simply present your card at any participating museum, gallery, or thermal bath. Enjoy free admission to popular attractions such as St. Lukács Thermal Bath, the Hungarian National Museum, and Pál-völgyi Cave.
